GEM grew out of years in the Israeli diamond and jewelry trade. Since 2012 we have seen from the inside how much of this market depends on one thing: being sure of what you are buying and selling.

Over the years we handled thousands of stones and pieces alongside dealers, jewelers and private clients. We saw paper certificates copied, attached to the wrong item, or impossible to check. We saw buyers hesitate, and good pieces lose value because nobody could prove what they were.

GEM was founded to answer that. An independent laboratory that examines every category of luxury item under one standard, and gives each item a report that anyone, anywhere, can verify against its original record in seconds.
